Take your preferred main character to Emma's house, just north of the inn, with the screw-like image outside of it, and talk with her when all three prologues are complete. She'll offer you 500 Gella to dispatch the monsters that have been unearthed inside of Lolithia's Tomb. She warns that you should bring some help, however.
To continue, you'll need to track down Rudy, Cecilia, and Jack and ask them to join you. Hopefully you already brought them to Adlehyde, but if not, you will need to go to their location and talk with them. Your party is now complete, but there are a few extras to do before leaving for the Tomb. If you haven't already, make sure to purchase all of the weapons and armor from the store.
Outside on the world map, or the Berry Cave, if you prefer, Goblins can drop Rudy's Long Knife weapon. Since the shop in Surf Village is forever closed to you now, this is the only way to obtain more.
Trek your way back to the Memory Temple with Jack in the lead and search the passcode panel once again. This time, enter the name "Emiko" and the bars will slide off the nearby door allowing entry. The portal will take you back to the Elw machine from Jack's prologue, and there is a door only Cecilia can open with her Tear Drop. You need to do this ASAP, as you will lose access to the Tear Drop in the very near future for a large majority of the game.
Inside, you will find two chests containing Crest Graphs and one with a Holy Parasol accessory that needs Hanpan to reach. The Holy Parasol is a Cecilia-only accessory that negates magic attacks Cecilia, herself, can learn and absorbs them as MP. As you might imagine, this can be a useful accessory when used during the right battles. You should have three Crest Graphs in your inventory now, too. I'm going to bind Escape (White: Wing-Fray), Revive (White: Muse-Geo), and Armor Down (Black: Geo-Muse), but you decide for yourself which you would like to have. Note: there are just enough Crest Graphs to create every spell in the game, so make sure not to miss a single one. Now, we're off for Lolithia's Tomb, due north of Adlehyde.
Take the first left into a room with three treasure chests containing a Potion Berry and two Heal Berries.
The room on the right-side you can push one of the corner yellow blocks away to plunder the Power and Mystic Apples from the chests. Just for reference, Rudy's ARMs are independent from his Strength stat, so increasing it will only raise his normal attack power. Alternately, other than to raise their magic resistance, Rudy and Jack's unique skills have no use for the Sorcery stat, but that doesn't mean you should give all your Mystic Apples to Cecelia; the two will need their Sorcery stat for Guardian summons later on in the game.
Climb the nearby ladder and you will find Emma inside the room on the other side. With all three characters in your party, she will allow entry into the Tomb. Afterwards, Bomb the wall behind her to find a chest with a Buckler inside. This is a Rudy-only accessory that increases his defense and evasion (Parry). There is another chest across the gap, but we don't have the proper tool to reach it yet, so just jump off the ledge and talk to the two guards nearby to Bomb your way through to the dungeon.
You'll find a few new enemies inside of the Tomb. The Rat Monkies can drop Travel Vests, which was Rudy's initial armor. This is the only place in the game you can acquire more than one.
Jack's starting armor, the Old Cape, can be dropped by the Aipeloss monster. This is, also, the only place to get multiple of this item.
Take your first right and have Rudy Bomb the rubble to reveal a switch to bring down the purple barriers. On the other side you will find a yellowish chest. These colored chests will explode upon opening and damage your character's HP, so it's best to use Jack and Hanpan to open these. Inside is a Heal Berry and you can climb the stairs to the next floor.
There's a 50 Gella chest nearby, then, after Bombing the rock, jump off the ledge and hit the switch for the barriers.
Head inside the door and push one of the blocks onto the switch to open the locked door, then throw Hanpan at the chest to open it for a Crest Graph, now you can return to the top of the area you jumped from to proceed onward.
In the next area there is a myriad of ladders, rocks, and barriers scattered about. You need to start from the bottom-right and make your way up to the top, picking up a Revive Fruit chest along the way, then to the left-side, and finally, the middle where you will see the ledge in the above screenshot. Jump off, but don't hit the switch under the rock, instead, switch to Jack and stand before the next ledge and throw Hanpan at the switch to activate it. You can then take a chest on the left-side of the area containing 130 Gella that was previous inaccessible by barriers, then exit through the now-accessible door to the north. There, you'll find a save point.
The next room contains a sealed door, which you can open with Cecilia's Tear Drop, and two treasure chests in the corners that contain a Magic Carrot and Heal Berry, but you'll need to push the blocks out of way to reach them. Downstairs, there is only a plaque with a hint for an upcoming puzzle.
Back in the Tear Drop room, take the bottom-right exit and step on the switch there. It will lower the purple barriers in the room beyond the save point allowing you to access a chest with 300 Gella.
Take the southern exit out of the Tear Drop room, climb down the stairs, and you can throw Hanpan to a semi-hidden chest in the lower-left corner containing a Hardy Apple. Then take the exit to the northeast.
There will be a gargoyle statue in the center of the next room in which the plaque earlier referred to. Search around its back and flip the switch to make some blocks appear. Then, push the blocks to all four corners of the statue; there will be a sound when they lock into place, then climb the newly-formed stairs. Have Cecilia use the Tear Drop on the door and you will be thrown into a boss fight.
I assume this is suppose to be "Magic Tortoise"? Anyway, as long as you gained a few levels and bought the armor in Adlehyde, this won't challenge you much. Have Rudy fire his Hand Cannon, Jack with Psycho Crack, and Cecilia casting Flame after Shielding herself, first, and using Armor Down, second. Magtortous' EM Laser can hit the entire party for around 100 damage a piece. If the party's HP gets near 150, have Cecilia use Mystic on a Heal Berry to restore HP to everyone.
Enter into the golem's resting place and nab the Magic Carrot and Heal Berry on opposite ends. When you approach Lolithia, the party will agree that they should head back and tell Emma about it. You can use the Escape spell, if you have it, if not, you'll have to hoof it back to the entrance.
